Karl Tyler Chevrolet & Cadillac Donates 40,000lbs of Potatoes

Each year, the University of Montana and Montana State University battle it out in conjunction with the annual Brawl of the Wild Griz / Cat football game and raise thousands of pounds of food for hungry Montana families, just in time for the holidays.

2015 is the 16th year of the Can the Bobcats / Can the Griz Food Drive, which has grown substantially for both sides over the last couple years. This year Missoula broke a 14 year losing streak and took the win over Bozeman by just over 20,000 lbs!

Big last minute push brings in thousands of pounds!

Despite the competition aspect of the drive, there are never losers because the donations raised by each town feed thousands of families over the holidays and into the winter months. The quality of the food we receive each year has the food bank smiling from ear to ear. So much tuna fish, peanut butter, potatoes, onions, carrots, whole grain cereal, and enough flour, rice and beans to last for quite some time!

Thank you Missoula!
